25 cards in one week

Image
As the title says, I needed to make about 25 Christmas cards in one week. Some of them are also inspired by some card making challenges. I'm only entering the cards where a challenge is mentioned in that challenge, not the whole set (which wouldn't all fit the challenge themes anyway.) 1. Christmas carols challenge: "Away in a manger" http://diesruschallenge.blogspot.com/ And I'm entering the last one in the following 3 challenges: Happz little stampers: Christmas http://www.happylittlestampers.com/2018/01/hls-january-christmas-challenge.html http://www.cardmakingandpapercraft.com/challenge/december-online-cardmaking-challenge http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/?p=10932 http://cuttlebugmania.blogspot.no/ The snowflake dies is by Spellbinders (I can't find the link) the snowflake embossing folder: https://www.sizzix.com/658779/sizzix-texture-fades-embossing-folders-2pk-snowfla

Sisters

Image
Using the sisters stamp by Sandra K Series on transparent paper and coloured on the back sidewith soft pastel pens. The top layer is the orchard tree frame by memory box. and behind the transparent paper, there's a layer of aluminium foil to create the impression of water, since the stamp shows two girls who walk at a seashore. A shadow picture of the middle layer  Playing with the position of the writing  And the 3 layers of the card D ies I used http://www.memoryboxco.com/99703-Under-The-Sea-Collage-craft-die_p_1622.html http://www.memoryboxco.com/99144-Oceana-Corner-craft-dies_p_516.html https://www.spellbinderspaperarts.com/nestabilities-deckled-rectangles-lg-etched-dies/

Peacock gift bag

Image
This is a gift bag I made   First, take the gift paper you want and fold it to make a bag. It has to be quite long, because a lot of paper is needed for the decoration. Then fold the decoration part (distance between two folds: ca. 1 cm.)  Cut out half halfmoon shapes. Last chance to put the gift inside the bag. Staple the folded part exactly in the middle.  Fold an origami crane (no explanations here, just some pictures) Put the crane in the middle of the folded part. Only pull out its head, not the tail. I folded a snowflake in half to form the crown and cut out he centre part.Glue it on the head. Et voilĂ , ready to be given to a beloved person. ( I have home made sweets inside.)

Dance of the sugar plum fairy & snowflakes

Image
As you can tell by the title, this project is inspired by Tchaikovsky's music, especially the dance of the snowflakes and of the sugar plum fairy from the nutcracker ballet. I ntered this card at the November poppystamps challenge ("Faerie kingdom") http://poppystamps.typepad.com/poppystamps/2017/11/psc38-faerie-kingdom.html Material I used (I got some second hand and don't know what brand they are, some aren't sold anymore) http://www.poppystamps.com/search.asp?keyword=magnificent https://www.sizzix.co.uk/661182/sizzix-thinlits-die-set-4pk-detailed-butterflies http://bikuben.com/produkter/dies-embossing-foldere/yvonne-creations-dies/yvonne-creations-snowy-tree-dies/ Memory box: orchard tree frame Snowflakes: spellbinders Bakground trees: creatables And as always my cuttlebug machine.
